Pachycephalosaurus was a thick-skulled herbivore of the Late Cretaceous, built for impact rather than escape. Though not a hunter, it was far from helpless—its reinforced dome and powerful frame made it capable of meeting aggression head-on and punishing anything reckless enough to engage it directly.
