The sky caught fire. The herds are thinning. A rival pack is closing on the last of the meat. Fight the rival, or hunt the herd?
Welcome to the starving world of A cataclysmic dinosaur skirmish game

A star of fire split the heavens and shattered the earth. Smoke blotted out the sun. Forests withered, seas boiled, and the great herds thinned to shadows.

Now every day is hunger.

Where the plains once shook beneath countless prey, only scattered carcasses remain. Predators that once ruled alone now meet over the same dying quarry, fang to fang and claw to claw.

There is no balance left, and no order. There is only the last war of scale and bone.

How it plays

The Hunt

There is not enough meat for both of you.

A herd stands in the middle of the table. Your pack waits in one corner and your rival's waits in another. You command a single species, only a few animals, and every one of them can kill.

You do not win by wiping out your rival. You win by eating more than they do. Bring down prey, mark the carcass, and feed before something bigger arrives to take it.

Facing decides

Positioning, facing and timing matter more than the dice. Come at the herd from its blind side or expect it to see you coming.

An armored herbivore swings its tail into a raptor

The herd fights back

Herbivores watch their front. They bolt when they catch sight of you, and they will turn and hurt you if you come at them badly.

A horned herbivore throws a raptor with its nose horn

Nerve breaks

Roll one ten-sided die against a stat to fight, guard or hold your nerve. The margin decides how bad it gets. A wounded animal can lose its nerve and run.

The kill is not yours yet

You made the kill. Your rival can still walk up and eat it.

Six predators

Choose your predator

Every predator in CARNIVORE hunts differently. Some arrive alone and own the ground they stand on. Some arrive eight strong and tear the herd apart from the edges. Pick the one you would be.

The Herd

Prey is not scenery.

Every hunt needs a herd. The herbivores follow their own instincts. They watch, they bolt, and some of them stand and fight. Each species you add gives the predators a different problem to solve.

Mesozoic scale

CARNIVORE is built at true 32mm tabletop scale. These are not small board game miniatures. They are large-format creatures made for wargaming tables. Most species run 5 to 9 inches long, and Tyrannosaurus rex and Spinosaurus approach 9. At 32mm, a footprint like that changes the battlefield. These are centerpiece models, not background pieces.
The sculpting is display level: defined musculature, layered skin texture, crisp scale transitions and clean anatomy. They reward painters up close and own the table at arm's length.
Every model starts from skeletal reference and modern paleo reconstructions. Proportions, posture, muscle placement and balance follow current science, then get interpreted for dynamic tabletop play.

Every base, drawn to scale

Oval bases from the box contents, at the same scale as each other. The bigger the animal, the more ground it controls.

"I was reading through the rules and I like how you approach them. The rules seem solid, and the setting is fantastic: dinosaurs locked in a violent struggle for the remaining resources. I can absolutely see myself playing this game."

Kawe, Westfalia Miniatures

"The minis are great. The commitment to realistic models is clear from the overall proportions down to the skin, scale, and feather textures. Overall, some of my favorite dinosaur models I've painted to date."
