The rule book was very nice. Great quality, aesthetically pleasing, as fonts and layout lean into the games setting and well formatted searching for rules and interactions is easy.

Very nicely printed and bound rule book. I wish the fonts used would have been a few points larger, (I'm old and my eyes are terrible), but that's a "me" problem. It's a great book that covers all the current 1490 Doom rules!
Great rulebook from a content standpoint, but formatting leaves much to be desired. Font size especially deserves criticism; it is consistently too small throughout the text (seemingly for no apparent reason given the glut of blank space on most pages). At times the text it simply too difficult to read and makes the rulebook itself nearly useless for quickly referencing rules.
Great improvement over small size first issue. The first issue was a lovely book but the printing was so tiny it was a challenge to use. Also I just got the Carnivore rule book and it's even better still. Keep up the great work.
Worth every penny. The lore, the side notes, the art, not to mention the rules for a really great game. So happy with my purchase. Can't wait to get more 1490 Doom products.
One of the best new fantasy skirmish games on the market. The rules are concise and intuitive, but not simplistic, and the lore on the campaign world really grabs you. Highly recommend.
love the book
The art is solid, but it seems very odd no one has called out page layout and font size in their reviews. I want to like the game, but upon opening it I thought there was an accident in layout that led to how small the text is. It's borderline unusable as a reference, and they really need to get someone to handle layout in the future with more experience.
Great print quality
Great looking book; the cover is nice and the aged effect on the paper looks really nice compared to just the PDF version. Not needed to play if you do have the PDF, but good if you are a fan of physical books.
Beautiful presentation. Love the hard cover, the images and artwork. The rules are easy to explain. Combine this with some great miniatures and you have an awesome adventure game. Kudos.

Great book. The layout is great, the artwork is amazing and the gam is good too. I would recommend this game to any one that is a fan of small skirmish games or a beginner trying to get into the hobby. Rules are easy to understand.

If you're a fan of skirmish games and dark fantasy, 1490 Doom is absolutely worth picking up—I can't recommend it enough!
Awesome, love to have physical rulebooks
It's great! The rules are intuitive and easy to pick up while allowing a good deal of tactical planning. Games are quick and punchy. The setting is just about as grim as you can imagine. Good times!
Was worried when I got the mini's with them encased in the supports but they came out easy and clean and look great very happy with my purchases
